Down the rabbit hole, Alice! and other Monday Meanderings!




This week's energies have you scattered, starting a million projects, chasing leads, and jumping down a billion rabbit holes. It's such an erratic energy that it's almost impossible to finish anything. Distractions lurk around every corner, noisy environments, and strangers popping up without warning. You need a break to consolidate your thoughts but you feel Mars pushing you into overdrive, overachieve, and extreme mode!


It's extremely difficult to choose one path while Uranus/Mars is in Aries. You're ready to be expansive, individualistic, creative, and powerful. It's important to love yourself and be proud of your performance yet there's still the desire to fit in and be liked.

Here are a few success tools to manipulate this energy to your advantage!

Part of the problem is that this energy is bursting out at the seams. You may have started one project today only to be continually distracted with another creative idea. An overcrowded schedule depletes your ingenious energy, creates a lackluster day, and in the end you don't accomplish your goals.

Start a memo on your phone, and label it at the top, keep a running list. Add any creative thoughts you have along the way, there will be time to use those later.



Make good use of your reminders!

The night before a big day, or just any day in my case, set reminders on your phone. It clears your mind of worry and frustration and aids a good nights sleep. Think of it as a mental reset. Sleep is more important during stressful times, so get your allotted amount of beauty sleep.

Write down three goals to accomplish in your day. Depending on how rigorous the steps are toward your goals, you might. have to limit it to one. The idea here overachiever is to de-clutter your focus so your aim is true and gets to it's destination! Again there's no better place than your phone to set goal reminders.


Take care of you! I mentioned sleep, but consider what you're eating right now. Find a healthy snack to pump you up and take a few moments to breathe and dream to replenish your energy. Deep down inside your mind will be saying, "No, I can't stop! I mustn't get off the train!" But, it is time to take control of yourself first and foremost. Conscious relaxation has been shown to be more replenishing at times for our personality and stress levels than sleep. I'm not saying it's a substitute. Sleep gives your entire body time to heal and reset. But, there is something definitely energizing about taking a mini "me" break during the day that gives you umph to carry on.




Laugh. Yes, you heard me right, just laugh. It doesn't matter how serious it is, find a reason to laugh about it. I can hear some of you already saying, "there's too many severe things in my life to laugh!" Picture the funniest character you can think of playing you on a movie and saying that. Now doesn't that make you smile. You don't have one? Try Miss Piggy, and if you're a guy, that's pretty hilarious!

My point is that for your health, success and well being don't get bogged down in the hustle of life. Learn to play a little and enjoy life.
